Darwin Flying School is well situated for easy access to well known locations throughout the Territory and the Top End, including Ulhuru (Ayer's Rock), The Olgas, Alice Springs, Kununnarra, Kakadu National Park and many other desirable destinations, ideal places for a dry season visit by light aircraft.

If you have a pilot's licence it is feasible to hire an aircraft (after a check flight) and visit the places of your choice over a two or three week period. Aircraft available for private hire purposes include a C172 Commanche Twin, a C182 and a C210-B. Other aircraft may be hired depending on availability.

For pilots from European countries and the USA, all you need to do is apply to CASA to obtain an Australian Temporary Licence. This may be done via use of email and fax, it takes approximately six weeks to finalise the process. Follow the C.A.S.A.
